The International Workshop on “Nanoparticles in Soils and Waters: Fate, Transport and Effects” will be held in Landau, Germany from 11th March to 13th March, 2014.

The workshop is intended to stimulate discussions in the field of aging, fate, transport and toxicological effects of nanoparticles in the environment. The workshop will bring together leading researchers, experts and specialists from nanoparticle and colloid science, soil and environmental chemistry, ecotoxicology and neighbouring disciplines.

The workshop includes four sessions:

Session 1: Risk assessment for engineered nanoparticles

Session 2: Fate, transport and effects

Session 3: Analytics of nanoparticles and colloids

Session 4: Mesocosm experiments

You are welcome to submit your abstract to be considered for an oral or poster presentation. Deadline for abstract submission is January 15, 2014.

Young Scientists are further invited to visit the spring school on “Analytics and Risk Assessment of Engineered Nanoparticles” on the 14th March, 2014.
